Latar Belakang / Sejarah

The Temple of Devotion & Understanding (TODU) was completed and opened in 2015 by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) Malaysia. The establishment of TODU fulfilled the aspiration of ISKCON Founder-Acarya, A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, to have a Hare Krishna Temple here in Malaysia. TODU's presiding deities are Sri Sri Radha Krishna Kanhaiya and Sri Sri Nitai Gauranga Rai. This majestic temple has 3 big ornate domes, 2 glass skylight pyramidal domes, and 16 pavilions. The mezzanine floor exhibits dioramas depicting key events of Srila Prabhupada's life from India to the west (1896-1977).
