In 1964, the former building of the U. S. Consulate at No. 5, Pangkor Road was found, which could be converted into a Buddhist temple. In March 1965, late Ven. Chuk Mor moved from Chuk Yuan Vihara to Triple Wisdom Hall. Triple Wisdom Hall takes the meaning of Three Wisdom: “listening, contemplating, and practicing” as its primary objective. It means that by listening to the Dharma, contemplating the Dharma, and practicing the Dharma, all people will be able to change from delusion to awakening and to cut off confusion and realize the truth.
