The Feast of St. Timothy, Pastor and Confessor (frequently celebrated alongside St. Titus) commemorates the life and ministry of St. Timothy, a close companion and trusted disciple of the Apostle Paul. Honored in several Christian liturgical calendars (such as the Roman Catholic and Lutheran traditions) on January 26th, this day recognizes Timothy's faithful leadership as the first Bishop of Ephesus, his enduring dedication to shepherding the early Christian communities, and his steadfast defense of the faith.
