English: The Feast of St. Thomas the Apostle honors Saint Thomas, one of the original Twelve Apostles chosen by Jesus. He is famously remembered in the Gospels as "Doubting Thomas" because he requested tangible proof before believing in Jesus' Resurrection (John 20:24–29). However, his doubt culminated in one of the most profound confessions of faith in the Bible: "My Lord and my God!"
